Live-out Housekeeper
Chelsea, Central London
£45,000-£50,000 per year
We are seeking an experienced live-out Housekeeper to support an UHNW family in their Chelsea home.
Your primary responsibilities will be to maintain a clean, organised and relaxed atmosphere in the family home and ensure that there is a welcoming environment. The job is Monday-Friday with a shift pattern of 8am-6pm, with some flexibility required and comes with an annual salary of £45,000-£50,000 depending on experience.
The family is very down to earth and encourages a relaxed environment wherever possible. Candidates must be comfortable with children as there are two young children in the home and while there is a Nanny in place, some support may be required occasionally.
Main responsibilities:
- Perform thorough and detailed cleaning tasks throughout the residence to ensure the highest possible standards are met and maintained
- Maintain organisation in the home and managing household inventories
- Handle laundry duties, including washing and ironing as well as manage the family’s wardrobe is well-maintained and readily available
- Apply knowledge of cleaning methods and materials to preserve the quality and appearance of high-end surfaces
- Respect the privacy and confidentiality of the family and their guests at all times
- Support other members of the team with their tasks and duties when required
- Run errands for the family when required
Requirements:
- At least 5+ years of experience working as a Housekeeper in a private household or luxury hotel
- Excellent knowledge of cleaning techniques and materials
- Strong organisational skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high standards of cleaning and maintenance
- Flexibility to work different hours than usual shift patterns.
- Have a positive attitude and be willing to support other members of the team when required.
